Download XAMPP
XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start.
Install XAMPP
# tar xvfz xampp-linux-1.5.4.tar.gz -C /optXAMPP is now installed in the /opt/lampp directory.
Enable Oracle support (Optional)
- Download and install the Oracle Instant Client
- To enable the oci8 support in XAMPP execute the command below:
/opt/lampp/lampp oci8
